Kroos set Bayern on their way, scoring exactly a year after his last goal against Arsenal in the Champions League, as the Bundesliga leaders were simply too good for the hosts, with the numerical difference helping them out too. A red card for Szczesny changed the same following a positive start from the Gunners, but playing with ten men against Die Roten is never an enviable task.
