TNA X-Travaganza 2014 Spoilers: Complete Results and Analysis.

The biggest claim to fame for TNA wrestling is the success of the X Division, and the company celebrated the history of the high-flying style with the 2014 edition of the One Night Only: X-Travaganza pay-per-view.

While last year’s event was arguably the best One Night Only show of 2013, TNA changed up the format for the 2014 X-Travaganza to feature the new and returning stars against the current X Division stars already on the roster.

With hardcore fans treated to great in-ring action and casual fans witnessing the long history of the division on display, the mixture of veteran talent and rising stars made this one of the most anticipated PPVs once again this year.

Here are all the spoilers from the 2014 edition of X-Travaganza and a breakdown of the results.While the six-sided ring may be a thing of the past, the same show-stealing attitude of every performer is still alive and well as the X Division was on full display once again.

Before we discuss the actual X-Travaganza tournament, there were two matches that were not directly associated with the quest to win an X Division title shot.

With Sanada squaring off against Austin Aries in a 2-out-of-3 falls match for the X Division Championship and The Wolves taking on Bad Influence in a tag team ladder match worth $25,000, these two bouts promised to showcase the best wrestling skills in the world.Moving on to the actual Ultimate X qualifying matches, the six bouts featured an eclectic mix of TNA mainstays an icons on the independent wrestling scene. Add in a few unproven talents, and this was sure to be a true wrestling fan’s dream come true.

Veteran Low Ki returned to TNA in glorious fashion to beat Chris Sabin to earn his way into the Ultimate X match. He was joined in the main event by Rashad Cameron, Kenny King, Ace Vetter, Sonjay Dutt and Tigre Uno.The winner of the Ultimate X match earned a shot at the X Division Championship.

TNA’s official website made a huge deal about Low Ki’s return to the company, and there should have been little doubt that he would be the biggest benefactor from this show. Not only was he featured heavily during his victory in the Ultimate X match, but he has also earned a shot to fight for the title on an episode of Impact Wrestling.

It will be interesting to see how much TNA plans on using the veteran moving forward.

Regardless of what the future holds for Low Ki and the rest of the X Division, the X-Travaganza PPV was the perfect showcase for the type of wrestling TNA should be featuring more heavily each week.
